The Legendary and mythic 10th century Rus Saber.

The swords are reenactment / replica's which are non serated, with round edges for martial arts and Theatrical / Viking shows, used in Reenactment, or for onstage theatre or filming etc.

They are non serated, blunt, with 3mm blunt edges, designed not to cut or hurt, and can be drawn across the skin without cutting or hurting / cutting the skin (For Historical European Martial Arts / Fencing etc purposes).

As you can see, the tips are rounded heavily, so as to be used safely for training / sparring purposes, and follow all EU safety standards for that.

These cannot be used for opening boxes or test cutting.

Made from High quality spring steel and heat treated this Saber is great for reenactment fighting and conforms to European safety rules.

This sword can work for Rus, and for Khazar etc reenactments, similar to the ones found abroad in Ukraine and further East.

Unlike many swords sold on Etsy, these have been tested by myself and others at several trainings and tested to failure (breaking) and can say with confidence the swords arent a dissapointment.

We've improved our technique on the sword heat treating process to make it uniform and reliable.

The handles are made from leather and wood (grip) with massive improvements in which we cant wait to show you.
